Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her amateur debut at age 18 in WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd felt more confident following the win and fought 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all during the first round. She then went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's professional career. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. InvictaFC 11 was her debut professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability defeated McGill as she managed to finish her in the third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to put on the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. The winner also got an extra bonus for her performance that night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's debut major fight. Ladd was the winner of the fight of the night bonus after both fighters fought an intense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. As a replacement she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a loss by majority decision.
