Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English musician and singer. Jessie gained fame early for her distinctive style of music which incorporates soul vocals with pop, hip-hop, and electropop. In addition, she has won several nominations and awards, including the 'Critics Choice Brit Awards', and the BBC's Sound of 2011.' Her music career began at an beginning of her 11th year when she was made a part of "Whistle Down the Wind,' one of the musicals written produced by English composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. The year 2002 was the time she appeared in"The Late Sleepers," which was the "National Youth Theater" production of "The Nightmares." She came into prominence in 2011 with her debut album "Who You Are,' which was released on February 28. It immediately became a hit. Within the first few days there were 105,000 copies sold in the UK and 34,000 across the US. It debuted at second in the UK Albums Chart and number 11 on US Billboard 200.
